Forough Amin is the founder of Iranian Women in NZ and a supporter of the recent ‘Women Life Freedom’ movement. A university lecturer in Iran for 11 years, she has a PhD in Language and Communication from AUT and is a passionate researcher and advocate, with a particular focus on African and Middle Eastern women and challenging institutionalised masculinity.
