Fatma is the first woman Secretary General of FIFA, world football’s governing body, and is committed to empowering women and youth, changing lives, and protecting the environment. Sengalese born, she spent 21 years at the United Nations, including as country representative or Deputy Humanitarian coordinator for the Republic of Djibouti, Cameroon, Chad, Guinea, Niger, Madagascar and Nigeria.
