Latayvia is the 2022 winner of the Prime Minister’s Pacific Youth Award for Leadership and Inspiration, a Senior Associate at the YWCA Tāmaki Makaurau leading the Y25 programme which celebrates and connects 25 diverse wāhine and gender-diverse people under 25 across Aotearoa, and on the boards of Women’s Health Action and Changing Minds. She is village-raised and community made.
