Megan made history in 1997 as the first New Zealand basketball player to join the US professional league, signing with the Utah Starzz for the WNBA championships as the youngest NCAA player, also representing New Zealand in the 2000 Sydney and 2004 Athens Olympics. She now serves on the board of Basketball New Zealand and continues to be an advocate for women in sports.
